Sudhalter, M.Ed., a third grade teacher in South Easton, Massachusetts: "Each Monday, my students take home a paper with the news and upcoming school/class events for the week. Also included are areas of the curriculum we'll be working on and the activities for each subject for the week. On the bottom portion or the back side of the sheet is the homework for the week. Each student signs the sheet and the parent also signs the sheet which is due on Friday. This sheet serves as an excellent form of communication with parents, and also keeps the child focused. I have received many positive comments."
